When changing lifestyle from the American script of buy a house in the burbs, get two cars, a dog and 2.5 kids to a travel as a lifestyle type of living there are a lot of questions. And frankly we love these questions because it helps us refine what it is we're doing, why we're doing it and in some cases has inspired others to change up their lifestyle.
However there is one question that we feel very challenged in answering.
The Question?
The reason this is so difficult to answer is that we don't yet fully know. We have made plans and done research, but in reality we're really really flexible, by design. If we meet up with some people who we connect with and want to stay close with them for a while we want to be free to do that. Or if the internship becomes a reality, we're staying put for 6 months.
To be this flexible, we cannot purchase tickets and have a full fledged itinerary. We do, however, have an idea of where we'll be and when, unless God changes plans, or we discover problems or health concerns, or for business reasons etc.
So we put together a page that has a map, calendar and some more details on the cities we're planning on traveling to. However, all of this is up in the air. (Note the disclaimer on the page!)
We'd love your help in finding connections, places to stay, business contacts etc. in each of these locations. We'll be keeping that page up to date as plans change and will refer to it in future blog posts.

- San Francisco, USA (24 hours)
- Davao, Philippines (2 months March 23 – May 27) – might possibly be Puerto Galera for 6 months
- Chiang Mai, Thailand (3 months May 27 – August 26)
- Possibly South Africa – Cape Town, Bloemfontein, & Pretoria (3 weeks Aug 26 – Sept 16)
- Ubud, Bali, Indonesia (2 months Sept 16 – Nov 18)
- Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (1 month Nov 18 – Dec 18)
