We're the Kortmans
Here’s what’s going on for us.(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)
People often ask us what we’re doing now. Each time we would type out a reply, describing where we’re at, what we’re focused on, and what we were planning. This was time consuming and not easy. So we needed a simple way to communicate this.
The /now page, A simple link. Easy to remember. Easy to type.
It’s a nice reminder for us, and an easy place for you to see what is going on.
This is from Paul and Becky Kortman, you can learn more about this location independent family here. To see what’s going on with their business see Connex Digital Marketing’s /now page.

We are just outside San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. A little town called Vivienda de Abajo near Cieneguita. We are currently renting a 6 acre (2.5 hectares) property.
Our horses love the land but we are getting a bit fed up with the really loud hacienda next door and the massive amounts of sand burrs! Becky has started working for the business daily and we are so very thankful for our awesome nanny, Laura.
We have started to talk about where the next chapter of life will find the Kortmans. Traveling more again? Selling Gracie? Staying put here in Vivienda? Moving to a different property but still near San Miguel? It seems every option is currently up for discussion! exciting times!

We have rented land near Cieneguita just 15 minutes outside of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. The horses are loving the extra space to run!
We are working on building up Connex and also starting a tour service for families who are new to San Miguel.
We are already enjoying activities for Navidad! Lots of fun things here to do for the holidays.

We are FINALLY back in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico!! We love this city!
We are searching for a property to settle on for a while. We would like San Miguel to be our 'home base' for our continued travels around the world...and we want horses!!! :)
Pinpoint a property and move there with Gracie. Begin settling the land how we would like and do deeper research on horse ownership!

We are in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico for the next few months. It's the rainy season now so we typically have cool but sunny mornings and thunderstorms roll in later afternoon. Then it switches to steady rain during the night. Downside, the ground is very soggy and mud is everywhere. We love the amazing thunder every afternoon though!
HAtW is working on improving our insider community and building our support there.
We are planning to visit Palenque Mayan Ruins on Father's day weekend (which is the same day as the U.S.). We also plan to visit some waterfalls on our 3 day trip.

We are STILL in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Ever watch the television series LOST? Yes, well, Merida seems to be our island. Every time we go to leave something else prevents us from going.
Paul is working hard at increasing sales for Connex Social and we are still rocking the deschooling process of unschooling.
Since the state of Chiapas is our next destination we are researching cool places to visit should we ever make it off the "island"! Palenque Ruins, Roberto Barrios waterfall, and Agua Azul waterfalls are on our list to visit on our way to San Cristobal de las Casas.

Currently enjoying the beach at the southern end of the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan of Mexico.
We are working on building an insider community for Nomad Together and selling more Skyscrapers for Connex Social. Both will allow our family more time to explore the world with passive income.
Up next: photos and blog posts about the Yucatan, comparing centotes and the Worldschooler Summit in Merida.

We're in the Rivera Maya coast south of Cancun.
We're living where people vacation :)
We're on the beach sand and only a restaurant separates us from the ocean.
Oh and we're about a mile south of the resort where we honeymooned before having kids. Kinda full circle now!
We've set up base camp here for a week with a bunch of cenotes, an animal sanctuary, and a couple of things to get done in Playa Del Carmen.
We will be here for a week plus a few days and then on to Mahahual Mexico to explore a few things there and bop into Belize.
But we have to be back in Merida on the 31st, so we're trying to cram a bunch of things into these last two weeks of March!
